Hi! šŸ‘‹ I’m Maddie

I'm a senior product designer in San Francisco working on XR and spatial computing.

I came to product design from physical space — I studied at Pratt, worked in exhibition design and as a designer at the architecture firm SHoP, and founded a design studio called Outfit. I was designing how people move through and read three-dimensional space before I ever designed software. That's the instinct I bring to XR: I think natively in 3D, and it shows up in the work — in consumer AR built for people who've never made 3D content, in enterprise platforms used by technicians in the field, and in developer tools where the whole challenge is the mental model.

I spent recent years at Unity, first on Gum, its first consumer AR product, and then on core editor tools.
